Alicia is a critical member of our team at Phyla, serving as our registered dietitian. With her expertise in nutrition, she plays a crucial role in helping our customers understand the link between their diet and acne. Through one-on-one consultations with our customers, Alicia provides personalized advice on how to make dietary changes that can positively impact their skin health.

During these consultations, Alicia takes the time to understand each customer's unique needs, lifestyle, and dietary habits. She then works closely with them to create a customized plan that supports their skin health goals. Her ability to translate complex scientific concepts into practical advice has made her a trusted advisor to our customers.

Alicia's approach to nutrition is rooted in evidence-based research, and she stays up-to-date on the latest findings in the field. She is passionate about educating our customers on the impact of diet on acne and helping them make informed choices about their health.

Alicia’s skincare advice: I’d recommend focusing on water intake throughout the span of the day, rather than chugging it all at once! Consistent hydration will allow your body to transport its nutrients where they need to go and to excrete any potential toxins that can cause inflammation if built up over time.

We are thrilled to welcome Mashari as our newest team member at Phyla. With five years of experience as an esthetician, she brings a wealth of expertise to our team. In her role, Mashari consults with customers to help them achieve optimal outcomes with Phyla.

However, Mashari's dedication to skincare extends beyond her work at Phyla. She is currently pursuing Physician Assistant (PA) school and is undergoing an apprenticeship at a dermatologist's office to further her knowledge and skills. Her commitment to lifelong learning and professional development is inspiring, and we are proud to support her in her career goals.

Mashari's passion for helping people achieve healthy skin is evident in everything she does. Her expertise has been invaluable to our team, and her dedication to our customers has already made a positive impact on our business. We are excited to see her grow and develop in her role at Phyla, and we are confident that she will continue to be an asset to our team for years to come.

Mashari’s skincare advice: Gentle Cleansing - Cleansing is the first and most vital step to any skin care routine. This first step is essential for many reasons! I always recommend using a gentle facial cleanser, one that has a mild cleansing agent or an oil-based cleanser. Incorporating a gentle cleanser into your routine helps to restore the skin’s pH and maintains hydration levels.  We want to nurture our natural oils and support a healthy skin barrier. This will encourage our skin to work in perfect harmony.
