Acne is a chronic disease, and recalibrating your microbiome takes time. Don’t believe anyone who offers you an overnight miracle. Relationships take time to build, and your relationship with your microbiome is no different. Stick with us for at least 2 months, and you’ll understand why.

We’re not in the business of offering a short-term remedy, and we want you to have better skin FOR LIFE. We’re with you in this fight against acne and are in it for the long-term.

Our products are intentionally formulated to be gentle on the skin, and this goes double when your body is already stressed out with other treatments. While we can’t always predict how a specific treatment will affect our product, we ensure that our skincare line will not affect your other health treatments. However, it is always encouraged to check with your doctor first.

We are proud to make 100% of our formulations in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. Our proprietary ingredient is made in small batches and with exacting standards at our local manufacturing facility in Sonoma County.

While some of our customers see quick acne relief with our system, we highly recommend using our products as part of your long-term skincare regimen. Acne is a chronic skin condition, and fixing it takes time. Remember that your relationship with your skin is for life, and you will reap the benefits of a healthy microbiome long after your acne is resolved.

We formulated these products with oily skin in mind, to ensure that our entire line feels light and non-greasy. However, we later found that our products benefit ALL skin types, even sensitive skin!

Yes, these products are non-irritating and completely safe to use while pregnant. However, it is always encouraged to check with your doctor first.

The Phyla’s system is designed to be used immediately upon receipt, and completely within 2 months, while incorporated into a daily skincare regimen. The Phortify Serum does contain a live probiotic, and we would encourage this to be refrigerated rather than storing at room temperature (we store it refrigerated before shipping to you)!

The Phortify Serum may also feel more soothing when applied with a light chill to it – kind of like a frosted glass. Ahhh!

The Phortify Serum contains our proprietary live probiotic, and just like yogurt or kombucha (or any live probiotic), it needs to be refrigerated when not in use. The Phortify Serum is designed to be used continuously for 2 months at room temperature and incorporated into a daily skincare regimen.

Other probiotic skincare brands mostly sell dead, ground-up yogurt bacteria (look for ‘lysate’, ‘ferment’, or ‘extract’ in the probiotic ingredient label). And few skin products contain live bacteria, but those are mostly derived from yogurt or dirt.

Our probiotic is a living microorganism derived from healthy skin, and it specifically targets acne-causing bacteria. Thus we are the world’s first true skin probiotic – from the skin, for healthy skin.

No, unfortunately, our products are not formulated with sunscreen. We strongly recommend you use sunscreen during the daytime to preserve your skin. However, most sunscreens we have tested also kill our probiotic. Don’t worry, we are hard at work to develop a microbiome-friendly sunscreen that is compatible with our probiotic! In the meantime, we recommend adding the serum at night, when you won’t need sunscreen and, the probiotic can work hard while you sleep.

Yes, our products are 100% vegan.

All of our products are fragrance-free. Our Phortify Serum is unscented, and our Phluff Moisturizer is lightly scented with a natural citrus blossom oil.

Yes, all of our products are gluten-free/nut-free.

Our products contain NO sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

No, our products are never tested on animals – never have been, never will be.

If you spend more than $100, shipping is on us; otherwise, we offer a flat rate shipping of $10 per order. Standard shipping will be 2-day shipping.

Yes, you can purchase Phyla’s products without subscribing. However, you will be missing out on the subscribe and save price incentive.

We accept PayPal, major credit cards and Quadpay as forms of payment.

We will ship your order within 2-3 business days and utilize 2-day shipping as standard shipping.

Never, however, you will be charged a sales tax (depending on what state you live in).

We offer free 2-day shipping for orders over $100 within the contiguous U.S.

Phyla only ships within the USA at the moment. Shipping will be via a trusted courier such as the United States Postal Service, FedEx, or U.P.S.

Returns & Exchanges

With respect to any purchase, you must request your money back within 30 days of the purchase. You may request your money back by emailing info@phylabiotics.com. That email must contain information about the product you purchased, the date of the purchase, and the email and name associated with any such purchase.
